1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Vortier (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Vortier is a module installer and marketplace for backend features. The Service allows you to:
- Install verified backend modules into existing projects
- Preview changes before applying them (diff preview)
- Uninstall or rollback modules
- Access documentation and support resources
The code installed by Vortier becomes part of your project. You own and control that code.
3. Accounts and Registration
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all fees according to the pricing plan selected
- Provide valid payment information
- Authorize recurring charges for subscription plans
Free Trial: We may offer a free trial period. After the trial ends, you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial period expires.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Code already installed in your projects remains yours.
Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund requests.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense modules without authorization
- Use the Service to transmit malware or malicious code
6. Intellectual Property
Our IP: The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Vortier and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Code: Code installed into your project via Vortier modules becomes part of your codebase. You retain ownership of your project and any modifications you make.
Module License: Each module may have its own license terms. By installing a module, you agree to its license.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of any content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
You use the Service at your own risk. We do not guarantee that modules will be free of bugs or compatible with all environments.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vortier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vortier and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vortier operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
